Operating Process of Case Erector Machine
The operation is simple, fast, and highly reliable. Here’s the typical workflow:
1. Carton Loading
Blank cartons are manually loaded into the magazine or hopper in a flattened state.
The magazine can be adjusted to accommodate different box sizes as required.
2. Carton Pick-Up
Using suction cups or vacuum arms, the machine picks one flat carton from the magazine.
The carton is pulled out and positioned for erecting.
3. Box Erecting
The machine automatically folds the bottom flaps of the carton.
Pneumatic or mechanical systems ensure accurate and square box formation.
4. Bottom Sealing
Once erected, the bottom flaps are sealed using adhesive tape (BOPP tape) or hot melt glue, depending on machine configuration.
The sealing ensures that the box remains rigid and ready for filling.
5. Box Discharge
The fully erected and sealed box is discharged onto a conveyor or positioned manually for the next packaging step.
