Horizontal Coil Wrapping Machine for Tyres

The horizontal coil wrapping machine is designed to wrap tyres in a spiral manner, making it ideal for efficient and secure packaging. This versatile machine, also known as a tyre wrapping machine, can be utilized for various wrapping applications. It is suitable for use with stretch film and HDPE materials for wrapping non-woven coils, garden pipes, irrigation pipes, flexible pipe coils, suction pipe coils, small tyres, GI wire coils, and more. The binding wire wrapping function helps reduce labor costs by automating the processes of film holding, bundle wrapping, and film cutting.

Wrapping Process

1. Rotation and Wrapping: The three cradle rollers rotate the bundle, initiating the wrapping process as the wrapping ring moves from the inner to the outer edge of the tyre.

2. Support Mechanism: A pneumatic cylinder is released to provide top-side pressing support for the tyre during the wrapping process.

3. Material Release: The holding cylinder releases the end of the wrapping material.

4. Film Overlap Adjustment: The machine automatically adjusts the film overlap ratio based on pre-set parameters.

5. Film Application: The wrapping material is fed and wrapped around the tyre as it rotates on the cradle roller. Branding tape is applied circumferentially around the tyre, with both the starting and ending points managed automatically.
